Our story
Engineering from the ground up.
PNJ Engineering is a wholly Canadian owned professional company formed by a group of Senior Engineers and Technologists. PNJ is a multi-disciplinary firm providing services in the fields of Geotechnical Engineering, Hydrological assessment, Pavement Technology, Environmental Engineering, Instrumentation and monitoring, Materials Engineering, Inspection and Testing, and Concrete Technology.
In 2019, Param Dhillon, founder and president of DBA Engineering for more than 25 years, joined with three DBA managers, Prabhdeep Lubana, Nick Sibilia, and Jimmy Misketi, to form PNJ Engineering Inc. In 2021, Abid Sahi joined the PNJ’s management team as Principal and Geotechnical and Environmental lead. DBA Engineering Ltd. successfully operated from 1991 to 2012 when it was purchased by SNC Lavalin Inc. and PNJ’s founder (Param Dhillon) continued to manage the SNCL Division as President and General Manager till December 2018.
Through their previous employment, the team at PNJ has been offering engineering services for over 25 years. Most of our experience has been with the developers and various municipalities around the Greater Toronto Area.

In-house Fully Equipped Material Lab
At PNJ, we are fully equipped with an in-house laboratory testing facility, with state-of-the-art new testing instruments. Our team is considered as one of the most experienced amongst consulting firms in the GTA with expertise in asphalt, soils, aggregates, and concrete technology.
